Best gay pals on television
I came across this article this morning. While it’s not thought-provoking by any means, it’s one of those fun articles that’s amusing to read. I figure, hey it’s Tuesday. Why throw something heavy on the table at the beginning of the week? Let’s keep it light and fairy, oops, I mean light and airy.
According to the LA Times, these are the best gay pals on television …
From Ugly Betty, Amanda Tannen and personal assistant Marc St. James.

The cast of Will & Grace of course!

Angela and Rickie from My So-Called Life … damn, I loved that show.

Who could forget George and Julianne from My Best Friend’s Wedding?

What would Sex and the City have been with out Carrie’s pal Stanford? He took her to all the best parties!

I don’t watch it, but these two made the list. From Desperate Housewives, Gabrielle and Vern.

We can’t forget “The gays” from Kathy’s D-list.

Not sure why these two made the list, as the character in question (Zach) isn’t even gay. Guess they just wanted to plug Heroes.

Another plug. This time for Grey’s Anatomy. T.R. Knight may be gay in real life, but he isn’t on television, so this shouldn’t count.

I think the author of the article ran out of “real” gay characters to mention. Hello! What about Jack McPhee and Jen from Dawson’s Creek?
Something else is missing from this list. What could it be … hmmm … um, how about the ensemble cast of the L Word people??? Talk about best gay pals. These ladies are attached at the lips!

What do you think? Anybody else missing?
Don’t forget about the Lez Keep it Real Contest!
grey’s anatomy, la times, best gay pals on television, my best friend’s wedding, ugly betty, the l word, lez keep it real contest, jack mcphee, dawson’s creek, heroes, desperate housewives, the d list, sex and the city, will and grace, my so called life

They missed so many good ones! I guess they included the guy from Heroes because it was a bit of a scifi scandal … he was SUPPOSED to be gay, but his agent talked the producers into letting him be straight.

Thanks for clearing that up Margie. I think a gay character would have been cool!
